Funerals

How do you say farewell to a loved one?

Organising a funeral for a family member or close friend can be stressful and difficult. A celebrant-led funeral is a personalised ceremony officiated by a professional celebrant, who is a trained to create and lead funeral services tailored to the wishes and beliefs of the deceased and their family. Unlike traditional religious services, celebrant-led funerals are often non-religious or only lightly spiritual, focusing more on celebrating the life of the person who has passed away.  I will create a personalised ceremony that is a fitting tribute to your loved one.

Once you have arranged the time and date of the funeral, we can discuss how you want the funeral to feel – what would your loved one have wanted it to be like? We will have a chat so that I can find out about the person, their likes and dislikes, hobbies and interests, family, career and any other relevant details.  From this, I will create a tribute/eulogy which I will read during the ceremony. We will discuss music, readings and any other elements that will create a truly personal ceremony.
